Santa Fe, N.M. — Marjorie Marie (Woolwine) Knightly died on Oct. 26, 2011 from brain cancer. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, J. William Knightly of Cochiti Lake, N.M.; her sons, Stephen (wife Melody) of Forest Grove, Ore., John (wife Mindi) of Lenexa, and Andrew (wife Cosette) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; grandchildren, Jakob Knightly, Paul Knightly, and Whitney Knightly; her brother, Conrad Woolwine (wife Priscilla) of Sun City, Ariz., and their families, son Tom (wife Joletta, son Larson) and daughter, Kathy Woolwine Craig (husband Patrick, daughter Abigail, son Daniel); two brothers-in-laws, Bob Knightly (wife Reva) of Omaha, Neb., and their families, daughters Nancy and Debbie and son Robert and their families, and John Knightly (wife Shirley) of Pittsburg, and their families, daughters Annie and Amy, and son Arnold and their families.

Marge was born in Pratt on Nov. 2, 1934, to Paul Woolwine and Marguerite Forsell Woolwine. During her high school years, Marge spent two summers at the National Music Camp at Interlochen, Mich. After graduating from Pratt High School, she spent her freshman year in college at Mills College in Oakland, Calif. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 1956 with a degree in elementary education.
